Scott Straka

Scott Straka is Vice President and General Manager of the Power Semiconductor Device Division of Hitachi America, Ltd. Straka has over 29 years in the Power and Industrial market segments with a proven track record of achievements. Straka is responsible for planning and directing all aspects of sales and business development policies, objectives and initiatives for the IISD division of HAL. Straka joined Hitachi America, Ltd. in 1996 and has held positions of increasing responsibility. The division’s products and services include: Motors, Generators, Compressors, Pumps, Inverters and Water Business Products.

Straka graduated from the University of Dayton with a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology. Prior to joining Hitachi America, Ltd, Scott worked for Sulzer Bingham Pumps.
